Today, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Bashimova met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Turkmenistan Ahmet Demirok.
The parties discussed priority areas of the Turkmen-Turkish agenda and other pressing cooperation issues of mutual interest.
The issue of cooperation between the two countries at international forums was also discussed. The parties noted the importance of joint work within UNESCO to support and promote intangible cultural heritage, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
