Today, the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation held a bike ride in Kazan dedicated to World Bicycle Day.
The bike ride took place from the “Uram” extreme park on the banks of the Kazanka River to the Kazan Kremlin. The event was attended by employees of the diplomatic mission and Turkmen students studying in Kazan, the Consulate General's website reports.
The head of the diplomatic mission of Turkmenistan in Kazan addressed the participants of the bike ride. He noted that sports diplomacy is one of the important areas of the foreign policy strategy pursued by the leadership of Turkmenistan, plays an important role in strengthening peace and friendly cooperation. In this regard, it was emphasized that strengthening international cooperation in the field of sports, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and forming an environmental culture play an important role in educating young people.
