National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during a meeting in Ashgabat expressed gratitude to the head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov for his attention to Turkmen students receiving education in the republic's educational institutions. This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
During the negotiations, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov confirmed his intention to continue developing partnership with Tatarstan in the cultural, humanitarian, scientific, educational and sports fields.
“We in Turkmenistan highly value relations with the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation,” noted the National Leader of the Turkmen people.
Currently, about 8 thousand students from Turkmenistan are studying at universities in Tatarstan.
