On November 27, Turkmen-Jordanian inter-MFA consultations were held online.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, diplomats of the two countries exchanged views on a wide range of issues of multilateral and bilateral cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres.
An exchange of views also took place on topical issues of the regional and international agenda. The need to create inter-parliamentary ties, as well as continue close cooperation within the framework of authoritative international organizations, primarily the UN, was noted.
The parties discussed the creation of a joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation between the two countries, as well as the establishment of partnerships between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry and business circles of Turkmenistan and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The possibilities of increasing the partnership of the parties in the fields of culture, tourism, science, education and healthcare were also considered, the source notes.
