In Almaty, a unique photo exhibition “Invisible World” was opened, created specifically for blind and visually impaired people. The exposition presents the work of famous photographers from around the world, made using innovative volumetric printing technology, “Mir 24” reports.

The peculiarity of the exhibition is that visitors can “see” photos through tactile sensations. Thanks to the special printing technique, the images have a relief surface that permits them to perceive them with fingertips. This enables people with visual impairments to fully feel the beauty and emotions captured in the pictures.

The organizers of the exhibition emphasize the importance of inclusive art and strive to attract the attention of society to the problems of people with visual impairments. For this, the exhibition also presents special glasses that mimic various eyes of the eyes, such as glaucoma, cataracts and diabetic retinopathy.

In the future, it is planned to expand the project by transferring to the relief format of the picture of Kazakhstani artists from the country's museum collections. This will make art even more accessible to all categories of citizens.
