On September 17, the first photographs of the wreckage of the “Titan” submarine, which tragically sank during an expedition to the site of the “Titanic” wreck in June 2023, were published, the BBC reported.
Images taken by deep-sea vehicles show fragments of the submarine's hull scattered across the seabed at a depth of about 4000 meters. Experts say the nature of the damage indicates an instantaneous implosion (explosion inward) of the hull under the enormous pressure at such a depth.

Let us remind that on June 18, 2023, the “Titan” submarine with five people on board set out for the “Titanic” wreck site, but soon lost contact with the crew. After several days of searching, the wreckage of the submarine was discovered, confirming the death of all those on board.
