1. An official reception was held in Ashgabat on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. The event, organized by the Embassy of Tajikistan in Turkmenistan, was held at the "Yyldyz" hotel. Ambassador of Tajikistan Vafo Niyatbekzoda in his speech emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral Turkmen-Tajik relations, emphasizing significant progress in the development of the strategic partnership between the two countries.

2. The President of Mongolia will visit Turkmenistan on a state visit. The issue of preparing the visit was discussed yesterday by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Ambassador of Mongolia to Turkmenistan Dorzhiin Bayarhuu. The parties also discussed the current situation and prospects for the development of bilateral relations, in particular through foreign affairs agencies.

3. A competition among professional florists entitled “Flowers – a song of beauty and peace” was held in Ashgabat. Four teams took part in the event, each of which was represented by three experienced florists. The teams competed in the art of creating original flower arrangements and demonstrated the highest level of skill.

4. Today, the Exhibition of Agricultural Achievements and the International Scientific Conference “Achieved Milestones and Set Objectives in Agricultural Seed Production” opened in Turkmenistan. The events take place on the eve of the 33rd anniversary of the country’s independence and are designed to demonstrate the successes of Turkmenistan in the agricultural sector.President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in his address to the participants, emphasized the significant efforts being made by the state for the comprehensive development of agronomy. The head of state noted that domestic scientists and specialists are developing new highly productive varieties of crops, taking into account the soil and climatic characteristics of each region of the country.

5. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a meeting with Ambassador of the Russian Federation Ivan Volynkin, at which key aspects of interaction between the two countries were discussed. During the negotiations, special attention was paid to the development of cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. The parties exchanged views on promising areas of partnership, emphasizing the importance of strengthening ties between Turkmenistan and Russia.
