National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working visit to the city of Arkadag. During the visit, he got acquainted with the activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship and held a working meeting at the headquarters of the foundation. This was reported in the TDH report.
At the meeting, the manager of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, vice-president of the Charitable Foundation R. Bazarov reported that over 400 children in need of guardianship were operated on during the reporting period. Also, hemodialysis equipment «Dialog +», manufactured by the German company «B. Braun», purchased at the expense of the foundation, was donated to the velayat children's rehabilitation centers.
In addition, the foundation provided humanitarian aid to children from different countries who suffered from natural disasters, and presented special gifts to young Turkmen citizens on the occasion of significant dates. Particular attention was paid to the drawing competition «Biz-Arkadag Serdarly Watanyň bagtyýar nesilleri» among children under 14 years old.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of the creative development of children and emphasized the need to continue work in this direction, giving a number of specific instructions to the relevant leaders.
