The Turkish province of Hatay is facing extreme weather conditions. According to the TRT television channel, due to the high air humidity, reaching almost 90%, the temperature of +40°C is felt by local residents as +62.5°C.

The hot weather that hit Turkey last week has already caused a number of problems in various regions of the country. Wildfires have broken out in some areas, threatening local ecosystems and communities.

Extreme heat led to unusual phenomena in the popular tourist resort town of Bodrum, where high temperatures began to melt the asphalt on the roads.

The situation is causing serious concern among authorities and local residents. It is expected that additional measures will be taken in the near future to ensure the safety of the population and prevent possible emergencies associated with abnormal heat.
