Turkmenistan accredits the new Ambassador of Mexico

The credentials from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Mexican States to Turkmenistan Jose Luis Martinez Hernandez were accepted on Monday by the Chairman of the Mejlis, Dunyagozel Gulmanova, on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, TDH reports.

“In order to further strengthen the friendly relations between our countries, I have appointed Mr. Jose Luis Martinez Hernandez as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Mexican States to Turkmenistan.

The high personal qualities of Mr. Martinez Hernandez give me confidence that he will successfully carry out the important mission entrusted to him.

In this regard, I ask you to trust everything that he will tell you on my behalf, especially my sincere wishes for your well-being, as well as the prosperity of the people of Turkmenistan,” says the text of the credentials signed by the President of Mexico Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.

On behalf of the head of state, the head of the national Parliament congratulated the diplomat on his appointment to a responsible post, wishing him success in strengthening the bonds of friendly cooperation between the two states.

During the conversation, the diplomat was introduced to the main directions and priorities of the domestic and foreign policy of independent neutral Turkmenistan, aimed at comprehensively expanding fruitful and mutually beneficial relations with all countries of the world, including the countries of Latin America, for which there is great potential.

Ambassador Jose Luis Martinez Hernandez was informed about the socio-economic transformations being carried out in the country at the initiative of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov within the framework of comprehensive development programs and large-scale projects aimed at the successful integration of Turkmenistan into the modern system of world economic relations.

The diplomat was also familiarized with the structure and legislative activities of the national parliament.
Continuing the conversation, an exchange of views took place on the prospects for cooperation, successfully built both in a bilateral and multilateral format, within the framework of large international organizations, primarily the UN.
