The 8th meeting of the Working Group on the Development of the Digital Economy was held in Turkmenistan online. The agenda included issues of further implementation of the “Electronic Government” system and improvement of the unified portal of government services e.gov.tm, according to the website of the Agency of Maritime and River Transport of Turkmenistan.
The measures discussed during the meeting are designed to accelerate the digital transformation of the country. The working group works closely with UNDP in implementing its tasks. At the meeting, they discussed the progress of work on creating an interdepartmental electronic document management system and a unified register of public services.
Representatives of various ministries and departments took part in the meeting. They shared their experiences and outlined plans for further digitalization of their institutions.
