The 17th meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Iranian Commission on Economic Cooperation will be held from November 17 to 19, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Mehdi Safari said, reports the state news agency IRNA.
The purpose of the next meeting is to develop and strengthen economic relations between the two countries, the diplomat said.
At the meeting, the parties will discuss various areas of cooperation, touching on topics such as transit and transport, energy, gas, trade and investment, customs, banking and finance, standards, tourism, healthcare and agriculture.
In parallel, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat will host an exhibition of Iranian goods, Iran Project, in which about 100 companies from Iran will take part.
