The National Music and Drama Theater of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly was awarded a special diploma from the First International Theater Festival TURKSOY, which was held in Baku from November 1 to 4.
Let us remind that the theater team presented at the festival the play “Love and Sorrow” based on the play “Leili and Majnun” by Govshutgeldi Danatarov.
The festival organizers presented special diplomas to all creative teams from the participating countries. The director of the Turkmen theater Myrat Aradov was awarded a diploma for active participation in the 1st international theater festival TURKSOY and for the successful performance of Turkmen artists at the festival, according to the website of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan.
Previously, we reported that the actress of the National Music and Drama Theater named after Magtymguly Gulnabat Abdullayeva won in the category “Best Actress” at the I International Theater Festival TURKSOY.
