The French national team won its fifth victory in a row in the Euro 2024 qualifying tournament


The French national team beat the Irish team with a score of 2:0 in the qualifying match for the 2024 European Football Championship. The French won their fifth victory in five qualifying matches, reports TASS.

Aurélien Tchouameni (19th minute) and Marcus Thuram (48th minute) scored goals for the winners.

In another match of group “B”, the Netherlands team beat the Greek team with a score of 3:0. The French team takes first place in the group, gaining 15 points after 5 matches.

In the matches of group “E”, the Czech team tied with the Albanians (1:1), the Poles beat the Faroe Islands team (2:0).

In group “G”, the Hungarian team beat the Serbian team (2:1), the Montenegrins and Lithuanians tied (2:2).

In group “H”, the Danish team defeated the San Marino team with a score of 4:0, the Finns beat the Kazakh players (1:0), and the Slovenian team was stronger than the Northern Irish (4:2).

The 2024 European Championship will be held in Germany. The top two teams from each qualifying group qualify for the tournament. The remaining participants in the tournament will be determined based on the results of the Nations League playoffs.
