President of the Kazan Federal University KFU Riyaz Minzaripov handed over to the Deputy Minister of Education of Turkmenistan Alexander Amanov a copy of the manuscript of Fraga's poems written down by the Turkmen poet Misgingylych.

As media.kpfu.ru reports, due to the fact that in 2024 the 300th anniversary of the great thinker of the East will be widely celebrated in Turkmenistan, Turkmen scientists turned to the leadership of KFU to provide a copy of the rarity.

At the solemn event of the transfer, the President of KFU said:

“The moment has come for the solemn transfer of documents related to the poems of Magtymguly Fragi, which were stored in the Department of Manuscripts and Rare Books of the University, to scientists of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan. On behalf of the leadership of the university, I present them with pleasure.”

Riyaz Minzaripov noted that the event of transferring a copy of the manuscript would become a symbol of cooperation and expressed readiness for further interaction.

Deputy Director of the Scientific Library. N.I. Lobachevsky Elmira Amerkhanova explained that the manuscript is a collection of materials. The writing of the text was completed by 1909. In 1982, the linguist Jamilya Karmysheva handed over the manuscript to the university from Alma-Ata.

“Our Turkic manuscripts moved across a vast region, so Magtymguly's poem, those works that were written in his address, were copied in various collections, are stored here. We see several poetic fragments. Scientists of Turkmenistan have identified one of them as dedicated to the poet, philosopher, classic of Turkmen literature,” E. Amerkhanova noted.

For his part, the Deputy Minister of Education of Turkmenistan expressed his deep gratitude to the leadership of Kazan University and the Scientific Library of KFU.
