The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad, in cooperation with the Center of Pakistan and International Relations (COPAIR) and the “Pakistan in the World” news agency, organized a seminar on “Turkmen-Pakistani relations: in pursuit of a common future”.
The event was attended by: Ambassador of Turkmenistan Atajan Movlamov, COPAIR President Ms. Amna Munavvar Avan, COPAIR Chairman Ambassador Khalid Mehmood, Pakistan in the World editor Tazin Akhtar, representatives of Bahria University, public organizations, business circles and the media.
Presentations on the history of bilateral relations between the two states were presented at the seminar. The Turkmen side spoke about the foreign policy activities of neutral Turkmenistan aimed at strengthening peace, good neighborliness and constructive partnership in the region and in the world as a whole.
Within the framework of the event, a new city of Arkadag, which is being built in Turkmenistan, was presented.
The participants of the seminar discussed ways to use the existing potential of trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Pakistan, including through the organization of exhibitions, exchanges of contacts and direct negotiations between the business circles of the two countries, reports the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
