Director Sam Taylor-Johnson will make a biographical film about British soul singer Amy Winehouse, the website writes Film.ru with a link to information from Deadline. Focus Features studio has published the first frame from a future tape called Back to Black, named after one of the singer's hits. The filming itself will start on January 16.
The main role is decided to shoot the actress Marisa Abelu. The film will be devoteв to the creative route of Amy Winehouse from her first steps on the scene to her problems with addiction, which led to early death in 2011.
