In one of the most populated cities in the world, Singapore, created a “biophilic” skyscraper, on the facade of which more than 80 thousand green spaces were planted, writes CNN Style on its pages.

The height of the skyscraper, called Capital Spring, is 280 meters. It also has a 4500-square-foot farmhouse on its rooftop. Fruits, vegetables, herbs and flowers are grown here, which are then supplied to the best restaurants of the city-state. The facade of the 51-story Capital Spring is dominated by tropical jungle plants, accustomed to the lack of sunlight, high humidity and heat.

The skyscraper has 90 thousand square feet of green space. Singapore's built-up area is one of the densest in the world, so the city authorities, in tandem with designers, use every available piece of land for landscaping, and if there is a shortage, they use the method of vertical gardening. In some areas of the city, landscaping is not only a necessity, but also a requirement of the law.
