The memorandum of intent in the field of combating crime was signed by the Ministers of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan in Astana within the framework of the state visit of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to this friendly country. About this reports KAZAKHSTAN TODAY with reference to Polisia.kz.

“I would like to note the high level of partnership between our countries. In almost all areas, we find complete mutual understanding. Cooperation has been established between the internal affairs bodies of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. We have a sufficient legal basis for this. Cooperation in the field of search work is provided. This year, six criminals were found in Kazakhstan at the request of Turkmenistan”, said the head of the Kazakh department, Marat Ahmetjanov.

In turn, his Turkmen colleague Muhammet Hydyrov noted that Turkmenistan also intends to strengthen and develop cooperation between the internal affairs bodies of the two countries.

During the visit, the delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan got acquainted with the new analytics system of the Kazakh police, which permits preventing crime and conducting targeted prevention in the most vulnerable areas.

At the Center for Operational Control of the Metropolitan Police Department, the guests were shown the operation of the application “102” and the “panic button”.
