The Head of the Republic of Tatarstan of Russia Rustam Minnikhanov has prolonged the credentials of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in Turkmenistan, the press-service of the Kazan Kremlin reports.
In accordance with the document, Ruslan Kabirov, who headed the Representative office on October 11, 2016 is reappointed as the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in Turkmenistan. Plenipotentiary representatives of the Republic of Tatarstan are appointed for three years.
Prior to that, Ruslan Kabirov worked as the First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan (from May 2012 to October 2016).
The Representative office of the Republic of Tatarstan in Turkmenistan has been operating in Ashgabat since 2008. The Republic of Tatarstan is one of the most active regions of the Russian Federation, having multilateral partnership relations with Turkmenistan.
