Uzbekistan national futsal team prematurely entered the playoffs of the Asian Cup-2022. The tournament is held in Kuwait.
Today, Uzbek futsal players beat the team of Tajikistan with a score 3:2. Earlier, the national team of Turkmenistan drew with the Bahrain team (4:4).
After two stages played, the national team of Uzbekistan leads in “B” group with 6 points scored, the second place takes the national team of Tajikistan (three points), then goes the team of Turkmenistan and Bahrein (both – 1). As per the rules of the tournament, the first two teams from each quartet will enter the play-off. Uzbekistan's futsal players guaranteed themselves a way out of first place thanks to a victory over the Tajik national team.
In the next match of the group stage, the national team of Uzbekistan will meet with the Bahrainis. The national team of Turkmenistan will play with the team of Tajikistan. Both meetings will be held on October 1.
To reach the quarterfinals of the national team of Turkmenistan, a victory over the national team of Tajikistan is necessary.
