The Japanese authorities are easing restrictions on entry into the country. Now, when visiting the country, a negative test for coronavirus is no longer required if there is a certificate of three vaccinations with vaccines recognized in the country, and tourist groups are also permitted without the mandatory accompaniment of a guide, reports trend.az. In Japan, vaccination certificates for Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Janssen, Bharat Biotech and Novavax are recognized as valid.

It is also noted that the maximum number of citizens who can enter the country has been increased. Starting September 7, this limit has been increased from 20 thousand people per day to 50 000 people per day.

Although unguided tourists are permitted to enter Japan starting Wednesday, tourism is still possible only as part of organized tours provided by travel companies or agencies. Individual tourism is not yet permitted.

Besides that, guests can now come to Japan as tourists not only from countries that Tokyo refers to as the “blue” or epidemiologically safe group, but also from the “yellow” and “red” groups, which include countries with difficult situation with coronavirus.
