The President of Turkmenistan congratulated the Governor – General of New Zealand on the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations establishment

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, sent sincere congratulations to the Governor-General of New Zealand, Dame Cindy Kiro, and the entire people of the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries, the newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan” reports today.

“Relations between our countries are based on mutual respect, equality and mutual trust”, Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted in the message, underlining that Turkmenistan is interested in extension of bilateral relations and expressed confidence that the cooperation of countries due to joint efforts will continue to develop in the interests of both peoples.

Taking advantage of this pleasant opportunity, President of Turkmenistan expressed to Cindy Kiro wishes of good health, happiness and prosperity, also, progress and prosperity to the people of New Zealand.

Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and New Zealand were established on September 8, 1992.
