The public release of the final version of iOS 16 will be on September 7 along with the iPhone 14, reports iXBT.com, with refence to Bloomberg insider Mark Gurman.
On the same day watchOS 9 will be released. But iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura will be released in October 2022.
The iOS 16 operating system was announced at WWDC on June 6, 2022. The first public beta was released on July 11, 2022.
iOS 16 introduces more customization options for the lock screen with new fonts, colors, and widgets, an updated notification system, the ability to edit iMessage text after sending it, and other innovations.
The actual version of the OS will be supported by devices starting with the iPhone 8.
