From the beginning of November, Qatar plans to introduce new conditions for the entry of tourists because of the World Cup.
Tourists who do not have a residence permit will be able to enter the territory of Qatar only if they have a World Cup fan ID - Hayya card, reports lenta.ru, with reference to the executive director of the Hayya platform, Saeed al-Kuwari.
At the same time, the most important condition for issuing a FAN ID is obtaining a ticket for World Cup matches.
According to al-Kuwari, foreign fans also need to provide themselves with housing. The certificate gives the right to stay in the country until January 23.
Let us remind that FIFA has shifted the start date of the championship by one day. The match between the national teams of Qatar and Ecuador will be held on November 20. The final competition is scheduled for December 18.
