In May 2023, it is planned to conduct an international motor rally through the territory of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran and Armenia. This was stated by the chairman of the CIS Intergovernmental Council of Road Workers Buri Karimov during a conference in Avaza, reports Turkmenmetbugat.
According to Karimov, international transport corridors form the basis of the modern transport system. He stressed that, first of all, it is necessary to improve the transport infrastructure on the border with neighboring countries and expand international highways.
“Coordinated actions are important for the implementation of the tasks in this area,” noted the chairman of the Council of Road Workers.
Speaking about future plans, Karimov called the organization of an international motor rally in May 2023 aimed at improving the state of transport interchanges in Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran and Armenia one of the important tasks.
