When following a diet, it is not necessary to give up sweets completely, but easily find a replacement for the usual desserts. Dietitian Elena Solomatina said that they could be replaced with baked apples, sorbets, marshmallows and marmalade.

The expert noted that when losing weight, desserts should not only be low-calorie, but also help remove toxins that may appear during weight loss. “It can be various fruit and berry jelly on agar-agar, on pectin. These substances bind toxins well and remove them from the body. And fruits and berries give the effect of sweetness”, explained the nutritionist.

At the same time, the specialist recommended abandoning the purchased marmalade, since it contains a lot of sugar. It can perfectly replace homemade marmalade with the addition of fruit puree. Thus, fiber will be preserved in the dessert, reports mir24.
