Today, within the framework of the Caspian Summit in Ashgabat, was held a meeting between President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
During the conversation, the parties noted the traditionally friendly nature of interstate relations, which are dynamically developing in a wide range of areas.
“Taking the opportunity, Vladimir Putin cordially congratulated Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on his birthday and wished him good health, longevity and further success in all his noble deeds,” says the message.
Also, it was noted that Turkmen-Russian relations are filled with new content from year to year. Close partnerships between Turkmenistan, Tatarstan, St. Petersburg, the Astrakhan region and other subjects of the Russian Federation have been established to the present-day.
