President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent sincere congratulations on behalf of the people and Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, to King Harald V of Norway and the people of the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries, the State News Agency reports today.
"Turkmenistan is interested in expanding bilateral ties," the head of state noted, expressing confidence that thanks to joint efforts, Turkmen–Norwegian cooperation will continue developing in the interests of both peoples.
Taking this opportunity, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed his sincere wishes for good health, happiness and prosperity to King Harald V, and progress and prosperity to the people of the Kingdom of Norway.
Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Norway were established on June 8, 1992.
