The former African head of state Hassan Sheikh Mohamud won the presidential elections in Somalia held on Sunday, reported mir24 with reference to the Somali Guardian. The politician won in the second round of parliamentary voting. 37 candidates competed for the highest office in Somalia.
67 years old Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who already headed the state in 2012-2017, became the first politician in the history of the country, to be elected as president twice.
