President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message and best wishes to President of the Swiss Confederation Ignazio Cassis and all the people of the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries, the Information Program "Watan" of the Turkmen Television has reported today.
"Relations between our states are based on mutual respect, equality and mutual trust," Serdar Berdimuhamedov said in his message, stressing that Turkmenistan is interested in expanding bilateral ties, as well as expressed confidence that thanks to joint efforts, cooperation between the countries will continue developing in the interests of both peoples.
Taking advantage of this pleasant opportunity, the head of Turkmenistan expressed sincere wishes to President Ignazio Cassis for good health, happiness and well–being, and progress and prosperity to the people of the Swiss Confederation.
Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Swiss Confederation were established on May 8, 1992.
