Almost immediately after start of production of the 10th part of “Fast and Furious”, the film was left without a director. Justin Lin left the director's chair due to creative differences, but remained on the project as a producer of the film.
In his statement, the cinematographer said: “I made a difficult decision to resign from the post of director, remaining the producer of the project. <...> I will always be grateful to the amazing cast, crew and studio for their support”.
Now the project creators will take a pause to find a new director. As reported by gazeta.ru, who will replace Lin will be announced in the near future.
The release date shifting is not announced yet and the premier of “Fast and Furious 10” is still planned for May 2023.
