President of India congratulated the Head of Turkmenistan on the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations

President of the Republic of India, Ram Nath Kovind, congratulated President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the friendly people of Turkmenistan on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries.

“The bilateral relations between our countries are distinguished by historical and civilizational ties. We are successfully developing cooperation in many areas, including within the framework of the United Nations and multilateral forums, which is of great importance,” Kovind said in a message, the text of which has been read in the Watan News Program of the Turkmen Television today.

The President of India noted that he recalls his recent visit to Turkmenistan with the warmest feelings, during which a wide range of issues of further development and strengthening of bilateral partnership in the interests of the peoples were discussed.

At the end of the message, the President of India wished Serdar Berdimuhamedov good health and prosperity, and the friendly people of Turkmenistan - progress and prosperity.

To recap, the diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of India were established on April 20, 1992.

Earlier, the Head of Turkmenistan congratulated the leadership of India on the 30th anniversary of the diplomatic relations.
