A painting by the painter Pablo Picasso will be exhibited at Sotheby’s in New York on May 17. The painting “Reclining Nude” will become the central lot and could go under the hammer for 60 million USD.
The Sotheby’s auction house employees verified, that the picture is put up for auction for the first time. The current owner purchased the painting directly form Picasso’s descendants in 2006. It is noted, that the painting “Woman sitting at the window”, in which Walter also depicted, was sold at Christie’s auction for 103,4 million USD last year.
