The UAE national team scored a resounding victory over the Turkish team in their third match at the 2022 World Cup in the third division of group “A”. The meeting ended with the score 13:4 (3:0, 5:2, 5:2).
The UAE team won the third consecutive victory in the tournament. Earlier, the Emirates team defeated Turkmenistan (10:4) and Taiwan (10:2).
Emirati hockey players will meet with the hosts of the tournament, the Luxembourg national team in the next game on April 7.
At the moment the UAE ranks first (9points) in the group in which the national team of Turkmenistan plays. Turkish team takes the second place with 6 points.
The Ice Hockey World Championship in Luxembourg will end on April 8. A ticket to the 2023 World Championship of the second division of group “B” will receive only the winner of the tournament.
