6000 almond tress grows in Turkmen farmer’s garden plot

The Turkmen entrepreneur Sapardurdy Nazlyyev planted 6000 almond trees on his 5 hectares garden plot. The first harvest of nuts he expects to gather next year, reports the UIET website with reference to the electronic newspaper “Altyn asyr”.

S. Nazlyyev owns a modern greenhouse facility in the city of Turkmenbashi of Balkan velayat – one of the six, that were put into operation last year. His greenhouses occupy 4 hectares of area, from which the entrepreneur received 400 tons of tomatoes in 2021. After their collection, the greenhouse was prepared for the cultivation of various varieties of bell pepper. They plan to get a crop of more than 200 tons by the end of the season.

Watering almond trees is carried out by collecting excess water while watering vegetable crops, notes the source.
