1. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov forwarded a congratulatory message on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations to the Head of the Republic of Cuba Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez and the leader of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Arif Alvi on the occasion of the national holiday - Pakistan Day.
2. President of India Ram Nath Kovind will visit Turkmenistan from 1 to 4 April by the invitation of Serdar Berdimuhamedov. It will be the first visit of the President of India to Turkmenistan in the history.
It is noted, that sides will discuss various issues of bilateral and regional cooperation, including the implementation of the decisions of the Central Asia-India summit, held in January this year.
3. The Acting Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan held meetings with the Foreign Ministers of Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan on the sidelines of the 48th session of the OIC Council of Ministers. Meredov and Qureshi discussed joint projects in the field of energy, trade and investment communications, and his Pakistani colleague expressed the commitment to further expansion of interactions with CA countries.
The talks between the Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan touched upon the projects in the fields of energy, economy, trade, agriculture, tourism and logistics.
Ruslan Kazakbayev proposed to accelerate the creation of the Turkmen-Kyrgyz development fund and launch its work this year.
4. A musical evening dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the People's Artist of Turkmenistan Agagelda Garyagdyev was held in Ashgabat. Congratulations to the hero of the day from cultural figures of Turkmenistan sounded from the stage of the National Musical and Drama Theater named after Mahtumkuli.
Atageldy Garyagdyev has been awarded many state awards, and in 2019 he received the international award “Stars of the Commonwealth” within the framework of the XIV Forum of creative and scientific intelligentsia of the CIS.
5. The opponent of Dovletjan Yagshimuradov at the Bellator 277 tournament become known. It will be Tony Johnson from USA. The fight is scheduled for 15th of April 15 and will be held in San Jose, California.
A 32-year-old Turkmen MMA fighter Dovletjan Yagshimuradov has 18 wins, 7 losses and 1 draw in MMA. Yagshimuradov became the champion in the Russian organization ACB and the ACA league.
38-year-old Tony Johnson spent 12 fights in his career, suffering three defeats.
