1. Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed condolences to Chinese President Xi Jinping in connection with the crash of a Boeing 737 passenger aircraft in southern China.
A passenger plane belonging to China Eastern Airlines crashed in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China. There were 9 crewmembers and 123 passengers onboard. As per the preliminary version, the aircraft had an engine failure, the pilots lost control of the plane.
2. Kazan resuming flights to Turkmenistan in April of this year.

3. Turkmen gas continues to take a leading position in gas supplies to China. In January-February of 2022 the cost of gas supplies from Turkmenistan to PRC amounted to 1,44 billion USD. Iran also entered the top three with an indicator of $0.05, respectively. The most expensive gasoline is in Hong Kong with a price of 2,88 USD per liter.
5. The Spring Holiday of Novruz is celebrated throughout Turkmenistan. In the capital on the bank of Karakum river an improvised town is located, recreating in basic details the Turkmen traditional way of life.
The participants of the event were welcomed with vibrant music and dances. They were treated to national wheat dishes and demonstrated how to cook traditional dairy products: chal, gatyk, suzma, ayran and others. The ways of preparing traditional national products: chal, gatyk, syuzma, ayran and other were demonstrated to the guests.
Here also were heard the songs of bahshi, popular melodies, famous musicians and pop artists, dance collectives performed.
6. Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov invited young people from Ashgabat, Ahal and Balkan velayats to attend Open Days.

7. The Turkmenistan residents aged 14 and over can participate in the French language Olympiad. The competition will be held among Francophones of Turkmenistan in an online format.

8. Eight-time champion of Turkmenistan “Altyn Asyr” strengthened the team before the start of the AFC Cup tournament. Contracts were signed with former players of the futsal club “Migration” – Ruslan Tajiyev and Arslan Saparov. Moreover, the ex-goalkeeper of “Nebitchi” and the national team of Turkmenistan Batyr Babayev joined the club.
From the 24th to 30th of June, “Altyn Asyr” will travel to Dushanbe, where they will play matches of the AFC Cup group stage with “Neftchi” from Kyrgyzstan, CSKA from Tajikistan and “Sogdiana” from Uzbekistan.
9. The dates of the matches of the Turkmenistan national team at the Ice Hockey World Championship in Luxembourg have become known. In accordance with the official schedule, the games will be held from April 3 to April 8 this year.
The hockey players of the national team of Turkmenistan will face the teams of Luxembourg, Turkey, Taiwan and the UAE.
