Polling station for Presidential elections in Turkmenistan opened in Baku

A Polling station opened in Baku, where citizens of Turkmenistan living in Azerbaijan will be able to vote for one or another candidate in the elections of the President of Turkmenistan.

According to Trend, the Polling station for early voting opened on March 2, 2022 from 07:00 to 19:00 at the address: Baku city, Jalil Mammadguluzadeh Street, House 85/266.

Voting at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Azerbaijan at Polling station No. 1 will be held in strict compliance with the required sanitary and epidemiological standards (entering the building in a mask as well as keeping social distance).

Citizens of Turkmenistan who reached age of 18 are allowed voting. One must have a passport of a citizen of Turkmenistan or a document replacing it.

It should be noted that the citizens of Turkmenistan will be able to participate in the elections of their President in 30 countries of the world, where 41 polling stations will be formed.
