The Laws of Turkmenistan “On Military Conscription and Military Service”, as well as “On Defense” and “On the State Border of Turkmenistan” will be amended and supplemented. This was stated by the President of Turkmenistan, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at a meeting with the Parliamentarians, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reports today.
According to Berdimuhamedov, reforms in the military area must be performed within the framework of the “peace-loving policy of the country, taking into account modern transformations.”
Last time the Law of Turkmenistan "On Military Conscription and Military Service" was supplemented in 2018.
