In Ashgabat, an Exhibition dedicated to the International Women's Day began working in the halls of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry on March 1.
The opening ceremony of the Exhibition, held at the initiative of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, was attended by members of the Government, heads of ministries and departments, rectors of universities, representatives of public organizations, the diplomatic corps and international organizations accredited in our country, the media, as well as cultural figures and youth.
At the Exhibition, one can see works of fine and jewelry art, applied and decorative art. The products of craftsmen from all the regions of the country are presented here: pottery, art, carpet. New works by Turkmen designers aroused great interest among visitors.
Floral compositions placed in the Exhibition halls became traditional symbols of spring.
The Exhibition at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry will last until March 8.
