McGill University experts studied the impact of smartphones and calculated the level of dependence on gadgets. Almost 34,000 people in 24 countries took part in the study from 2014 to 2020. According to published data, China, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia are in the top of the countries whose residents are most dependent on smartphones. The United States was ranked 18th, while Germany and France were at the very bottom of the list. The scientists noted that the problematic use of smartphones increased worldwide between 2014 and 2020, and most likely this trend will continue.
