Nearly 180 domestic flights have been canceled at Haneda Airport in Tokyo due to heavy snow expected Thursday, according to weather forecasts.
In addition, the movement of JR express trains, which connect the capital of Japan with the mountainous prefectures of Nagano and Yamanashi, has been suspended. Also blocked some sections of high-speed toll roads, in order to avoid the occurrence of ice.
