Representatives of Turkmenistan are invited to the Central Asian Journalism Summer Institute, which will be held from June 13 to July 1, 2022 in Bishkek.
Journalists or journalism students between the ages of 18 and 30 can apply.
The training modules include media literacy, data journalism and new media technologies. The Summer Institute will be held in Russian.
The scholarship for this program includes international transportation to and from the Summer Institute venue, accommodation, meals, accident insurance and program materials. The organizers will only consider candidates, who are willing to complete the entire proposed course (three weeks) of the Summer Institute.
Applications are accepted until March 1, 2022.
Participants will collaborate during training and, upon returning home, continue to interact with a wide network of regional journalists, including through the GOViral network.
