Space Entertainment Enterprise (S.E.E) announced its intention to build a module at the International Space Station with a sports arena and a movie studio. According to daily.afisha.ru, the SEE-1 space module will be designed for film, television and sports events, as well as for artists, producers and creatives who want to create content in micro-gravity in low-Earth orbit.
The module will be developed by the private company Axiom Space. As the newspaper notes, SEE-1 will be docked to the commercial module Axiom Station, which will also host other commercial enterprises, including those for space tourism. The Axiom station will separate from the ISS in 2028. The construction of the SEE-1 module is scheduled to be completed by 2024, and the company is now seeking funding for the project.
