Israeli startup Plantish has developed a technology for 3D printing plant-based salmon fillets. The vegan fillet will be created from legume proteins and algae extract. At the same time, in terms of texture, taste and appearance, this product completely imitates the original, and a steak from such salmon turns out to be saturated with useful elements, such as Omega-3, Omega-6 and vitamin B. According to the developers, vegetable fillet will not contain microplastics and mercury, which are often found in marine fish. The company believes that their development will save the inhabitants of the seas from extinction and reduce the volume of commercial production, writes daily.afisha.ru.
