The President of Turkmenistan extended the payment of loans to government agencies for a year

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov extended the payments of loans and interest rates calculated for the past period for state structures, having signed a relevant Resolution today at an expanded meeting of the Government, the “Vatan” news program of the Turkmen television reported.

The document was adopted “in order to successfully implement the planned measures for the sustainable development of the country's economy in the context of the situation in the global economy, further improve the financial and economic condition of ministries, sectoral departments and hyakimliks, as well as increase the state budget revenues and timely fulfillment of budgetary obligations”.

According to the Resolution, the payment deadlines for outstanding balances and interest as of January 1, 2022 are allowed to be postponed until January 1, 2023.

At the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized that the collection of taxes in full, including local ones, should be kept in the center of constant attention.

The head of state instructed to timely carry out work on mutual settlements. He also added that each leader must analyze the financial condition of the supervised area.
