The priority issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields were discussed today by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov with his Korean Counterpart Chon Uy-yon.
As reported by the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry, the parties noted the traditionally friendly nature of interstate relations based on the principles of trust, mutual respect and mutual benefit. It was emphasized that this is facilitated by regular contacts on topical issues on the bilateral agenda.
The diplomats also noted the fruitful interaction of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea in the work of the joint Business Council, as well as in the framework of the multilateral format "Central Asia - Korea". In this regard, the heads of the foreign affairs agencies of the two countries discussed the agenda of the upcoming 14th Central Asia-Korea Cooperation Forum, which will be held on November 30 this year in Dushanbe.
