Diplomats, representatives of Malaysian business circles, as well as employees of the country's Foreign Ministry and the head of administration of the Institute for Strategic and International Studies of Malaysia took part in an international conference organized by the Turkmen diplomatic mission in Malaysia, turkmenistan.ru reported.
The conference was timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan.
The head of the Turkmen diplomatic mission, opening the meeting, said that it was 30 years since the founding of the Turkmen state. Relying on a neutral international legal status, a favorable geopolitical and geo-economic position, possessing reserves of raw materials and powerful human potential, in the near future it is able to turn into one of the industrially developed countries of the region.

Within the framework of the conference, the ambassadors of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Afghanistan made speeches, who cordially congratulated the people and the leadership of Turkmenistan on the state holiday, also noting that the status of the country's permanent neutrality makes it possible to fully implement the regional security policy and develop good-neighborly relations in Central Asia.
The conference ended with a tasting of Turkmen national cuisine.
