Today, Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Turkmenistan Ruben Harazyan, who presented copies of his credentials.
Congratulating the Ambassador on his appointment to a responsible position, the Minister wished him success in his new career.
Mr. Harazyan, in turn, assured that he would do everything possible to promote the strengthening of bilateral relations.
The parties discussed cooperation in political, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres, noting the need to organize bilateral meetings at various levels, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reports.
It should be reminded that Ruben Harazyan was appointed ambassador to Ashgabat in July this year. On October 7, he was received by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
